What must I do to be saved?
This question has been the most powerful and important question in the entirety of the human existence. Our lives are defined by one’s ability to save oneself, one’s loved ones and friends, and even strangers. However, there is only ONE that can save and the bible clearly spells out and defines the PERSON and the process to salvation.
The bible states in Acts 16:31: Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.
Who is Jesus Christ?
Jesus Christ is the son of the one true and living GOD. The scripture says in Gensis 1:1 “In the beginning, GOD created the heaven and the earth.” All life, matter, and energy comes from GOD.
You must understand that God loves You!
He has always loved you and because of that love, he gave his only begotten son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have Everlasting Life
Jesus Christ came down to earth to be the Lamb of God that takes away the sin of the world. He took on human flesh, became a man and then laid down his life as the ultimate sacrifice to save you.
Why do I NEED to be Saved?
We need to be saved from the penalty of sin. You might believe you are a good person but in reality the sin nature still rules your body, mind, and heart. It takes more than being good; we have to be made Holy and Righteous in the eyes of God. Only Jesus Christ can do that.
“For all have sinned and come short of the Glory of God”
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”
How do I become Saved?
All you have to do is acknowledge that you are a sinner, ask for forgiveness from God, and believe and trust in Jesus Christ as your personal Lord and Saviour. His shed blood is enough to wash away all your sins.
“For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
If you are ready, you can pray this prayer right now:
Father in the name of Jesus, I come to you. Thank you for bringing me to the realization that I am a sinner and in need of your grace and salvation. Please forgive me of all my sins. I now confess with my mouth the Lord Jesus as my personal Lord and Saviour and believe in my heart that God has raised Him from the dead for my salvation. I give you my life; come into my heart and make me your child today in Jesus name. Amen.
If you believed what you have just prayed with all your heart, then we extend our CONGRATULATIONS!
